As Hubject writes, until recently the billing process between the operators of charging stations (CPO) and eMobility Service Providers (EMP) was often associated with manual work, in which the costs for each completed charging process and the tax information had to be entered. This process is automated with the new function.
This is not about the billing with the customer (this is the responsibility of the EMP), but the billing in the background between the EMP and the CPO. For this purpose, according to Hubject, the tariffs provided by the CPO are now automatically combined with the Charge Detail Records (CDR). This makes it possible to send the final invoice digitally to the EMP. The CPO in turn receives a monthly overview of all transactions of all EMPs that have taken place in his charging network.
Since "Invoice Management" uses the data already available on the platform, but re-links it, according to Hubject, the CPO should be able to make the most of the platform with just a few steps. “This function makes billing processes easier, saves time and reduces errors,†says Hubject.
"With 'Invoice Management' our partners can organize their business more effectively and efficiently and promote electromobility," says Hubject CTO Carsten Puhl. “That is of course also the mission of Hubject.â€
